Family Support Services

Two Family Resource Referral Coordinators are working closely with tenants especially those who are formerly homeless, to facilitate a smooth transition into independent living, FBHC buildings, and local neighborhoods. An orientation guide provided by the agency contains a host of useful maps, applications for services, voter registration, continued education/employment training programs, information on areas' stores, banks, schools and child care, as well as a comprehensive phone directory. The guide is 33 pages in length with 20 attachments in the pockets.
The Resource Coordinators assist with the typical requests for assistance which involve income maintenance, child care, domestic violence, AIDS related services, drug rehabilitation programs, health issues, child evaluation services, and immigrant issues.
Referral services are free and available to anyone who seeks them.
